The Alexandria Assembly has been invited to demonstrate English Country Dancing such as Jane would have participated in. We will demonstrate a couple of simple dances, then invite the audience to participate in a few more. You do not need to be an experienced dancer to participate, but you should attend our regular preceding sessions, in which Corky and Colleen will teach the dances that we will demonstrate.

We will be dancing:

• German Waltz (3-couple)

• My Love Tis But a Lassie Yet (3-couple)

• Savage Dance

Notations for these dances are on the Dance Catalog page.

Dress is Regency attire (preferred, if you have it), or modern attire as appropriate for an afternoon tea. The event runs from 2 PM to 5:15 PM, but we are allocated the time period 3:00 to 3:45 (NOTE THE TIME CHANGE!). Please arrive early to get ready.
